they had a bunch of great photos on the wall in their apartment. including a cute one of betsy, the giant ladybug/buggalo.

reminds me of the way bender broke up with the planet express ship.

allow me to briefly be "that guy"
as much as i appreciate the overall message of relationship equality, as an oversensitive homo, i was bothered by a couple of things that struck me as quite tone deaf in bender's list of acceptable pairings.

disagree 100% on the clown-itis thing! i did not find that amusing at all. it felt like someone really thought hermes in clown makeup would be funny, so they just forced it in, briefly belabored it, and then checked it off on their to-write list.

given how fast mores used to change, and how fast they're changing lately, maybe by the 31st century they'll be able to change overnight.

oh dear…
fyi, it's "quelle surprise," not "quell surprise." unless you were actually instructing us to quell our collective surprise.

sweet zombie jeebus. i almost started caring about this argument again! curse you, internet fora!

near as i can tell from some cursory inline research, the origins of the discrepancy are unknown, but "on line" is definitely restricted to parts of new england (though i can't recall hearing it in boston or providence).

@Jeremy:

that were-car episode wasn't great, but i still thought it was better than this. it had some great moments like the binary in the mirror, the "ancient readme file," and the superstitious townsperson saying, "i believe what i was *programmed* to believe!" plus, i couldn't help but find it sweet how happy fry was when

"that's not why people watch tv! clever things make people feel stupid, and unexpected things make them feel scared!"

mostly lame, but i liked the ending.
what usually saves a lame futurama episode for me (…wait a minute, has there ever been another? the only one springing to mind is last week's in-a-gadda-da-leela) is the dialogue and random lines, particularly from the professor. but this week, i couldn't even detect any

ohhhh, so *that's* where they say "on line"!

acting = eyebrows
i'm concerned that there might not be enough material in the series for Elijah to furrow his brows over.

you mean Cerberus?

bill and sophie ann did interact extensively when he went to her for help with his maenad problem last season.

but what i mean is, is the average vampire really so dangerous? we have no idea. sure, they fit the classic definition of "monster" in the dracula/wolfman/mummy sense, but in the behavioral sense, how do we know the Stephen Roots don't outnumber the eric northmans a thousand to one? note that even the vamp

if you were the CW execs…
what would you call jessica's spin-off? apparently "vampire diaries" is taken already.

i think the "vampire nest effect" also could explain why lorena seems less psychotic in the past.

yeah, i'm curious about how the hierarchies of the vampire monarchies/magistrates interact with the vampire PR machine. i adore the PR lady. i seem to recall she mentioned something about her bosses, but not who they are or what their roles are. given godric's example, perhaps the old-fashioned vamp royalty have
