Neon works if it's being used for a specific reason, though.  In last night's performance I did like the neon sleeves against the black clothes: it's what made that awesome linked-arm trick 'pop' so beautifully.

By the way, thanks to you and Emily for covering this show.  Definitely a favorite in our household, but not that widely watched or covered.  It makes it hard to watch other shows where dance crews perform (cough, America's Got Talent) because however much I groused this season, they really do set a really high bar.

I aM mE wins best dance crew of this season, too!  Seriously.  I know they had more time to prepare, but their performance tonight was better than anything any of this season's crews did all season.   I mean, damn.

For what it's worth: Pynchon agrees with you that Lot 49 is not very good.  He's had some pretty withering words about it in retrospect…. and weirdly enough, despite its slim size it was the hardest of his books for me to get through.
