Win Butler stole my basketball.

I wouldn't say that I like it. I would say that I am powerless against its ability to emotionally manipulate me, like the movie "Beaches" did when I was in my teens.

The real story?
Brendan Fraser just came off making "President Baseball 2," and the Youngoproxin isn't working.

100 years
This song makes the short list of songs about which I carry a secret shame— I think I've cried every time I've heard it. Another one is "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilera.
It turns out I am made of wuss!

You know what?
As a single lady feeling the familiar terror and flu-like symptoms of a new crush coming on, reading this made me feel so much better and ready to face it like someone who isn't a nervous wreck. Thanks for the pep talk!

And don't underestimate…
"Amistad." "Aw, total makeout flick! Oh, I think I'm gonna be sick."

I love this show
Does anyone know how many episodes are in this season, and when might FX make a decision about a second season? I asked Google but he didn't know right offhand.

BUBBS!

Oh, the horrible poems
This came out when I was in sixth grade, and it really inspired the terrible, awful idea that I could write poems called stuff like "How the end always is" (actual poem name) about boys who didn't want to talk to me at the pool snack bar.
I still love "Disintegration." I've listened to

This is the episode I have been waiting for since these recaps started!
Might I add:
"Someone's in the kitchen with Bob Dole, someone's in the kitchen with Bo-ob Do-ole, someone's in the kitchen with Bob Dole … that's really all I've got right now."

Yep- Tracy Jordan's 39-y-o son! Also, for a while last night I thought this was my first "first," but I don't mind handing that over to someone called Power-Pop Pop Pop.

Ugh
It's driving me crazy that I can't place the guy who was the reporter. Is anyone here, like, five thoughts ahead of me?

She is really, really bad at lip-synching.

Argh. They never did find anything interesting to do with him, did they? He was the reason I watched the show in the first place. I got all moony over him in "All The Real Girls." Is he leaving for another show, or for the justifiable reason that they never figured out what to do with him?

Aw, that's too bad
I loved "Greatest American Hero" when I was little and then I always liked his guest appearances on "The Cosby Show." He was cool.

I forgot until today that I loved this song. It was catchy and sweet.

I thought he was saying he WAS in fact part of a hip "Hollywood hang gang" comprising himself, Leonardo DiCaprio and Steve Buscemi, but that wasn't WHY she liked him.
Like anyone would believe Steve Buscemi would be like, "Hey Leo, we rollin' tonight? Do you want to see what guy from Blessid Union of Souls is up to?

I believe Totz, Jr. is referring to the incomparable "Feelin' on Yo Booty," which is also great in both its original and remix forms.

Also
Following these two guys on Twitter is a joy. But you have to follow both of them, or a lot of the time it won't make sense. I am going to pledge all my money tonight.

Oh yeah, I vaguely remember that she was flaky and kinda mean in Notting Hill.
When she gives her whole "I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love me" (or whatever she says), he could have just said "and my answer is no thanks."
In real life, that happens to plenty of people.
