Hopefully with an extended season 5 they should be able to nicely wrap up the show…just hope the wrap up doesn't include a fade-to-black or purgatory aspect…

This show is feeling more and more like a killer-of-the-week CSI type show with each season no longer advancing the overall story in any significant way. It really needs a firm end date. I am quickly losing interest as this series keeps spinning its wheels.

So LaGuerta gets promoted in another underhanded way. Hopefully that means less of her character this season. Anyone else feel that Batista won't get the Lieutenant position? Maybe Mathews will pull some strings to, i dunno, give it to Deb just to piss off LaGuerta for that whole blackmail thing.

EJO as a ghost, Colin Hanks as Bizarro Dexter with some kinda distorted religious code might actually make this season interesting. Otherwise, it'll feel too similar to last season with the whole Jordan Chase as the leader and his collection of lackeys doing his bidding.
