I don't mind the number of episodes per season, I mind the splitting of them into two arcs that are seperated by almost a year. It's closer to being a six episode season than even a 12 episode season, because of the way they're presenting them.

For some reason none of this season has really worked for me. I'm annoyed by the doctor's overly energetic antics, and every story is striking me as a little too silly and off point.

That would be the best show ever, Ricky Jay heckling Gallagher by flinging playing cards at a hundred miles an hour into his watermelon, one right after another.

I think each rice grain is a single krisp, so it should really be "Rice Krisp treats." Or because that's awkward, maybe the slightly more relaxed "Rice Krispy treats."

I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out how in the name of all things sensible and expected, Chris Brown managed to do do something so stupid that not even he should be capable of it.

I think he probably had several agendas, given his character, any one of which would justify the effort. Rosen seemed to think Stanton wanted an up close look at the team, which I didnt pick up on but since Rosen is inside the script, I assume he's right. :)

My take on Stanton wasn't that he had a perfect plan in advance of entering the Alphas HQ, just that he was confident of his ability to improvise his way through whatever he found there based on his years of experience.

I think Matt Smith is in danger of making his Doctor unbearable with his energetic goofiness because TV characters tend to sort of become more and more of a parody of themselves the longer someone has to keep writing stories for them. Like on season 1 of friends, Joey was an amiable but dopey New Yorker and by the

Same here. I cringed when she started making up pet named for the Doctor and Rory. And she's way too self-consciously quirky. It's like they stole Zooey Deschanels ukelele and stuffed her in Dhalek.
