That's in Ecotone, Season 5 Episode 9. Nate flatlining is what wakes David up. The implication is that they were both

That is a really terrific episode of SFU, and of TV in general, for sure. I actually posted a reply to you earlier today, but I think Disqus ate it. Anyway, how did you get into the show? Were you watching it as it aired?

Oh, that is one of the best episodes of SFU (and television), absolutely. Were you watching the show as it aired? How did you come to get into it?

@avclub-eede55069a8d3430b54730901f49c230:disqus Yeah, I haven't been there in years but from what I remember it's the best in Toronto. If you're not big on Dim Sum, though, I don't know that it would change your mind as it's fairly traditional in style. And yay for sabbaticals! I work for the government, so we don't

@avclub-eede55069a8d3430b54730901f49c230:disqus My mistake, SBT! Many apologies. I'm just used to years at the Bendis Board. I've been preconditioned to assume every internet commentator is male, you can imagine that has led to some hilarious misunderstandings. So, why the lack of vacation? (BTW, have you been to

@avclub-df80f70f60b1c678f8c91696f4a54f5f:disqus Yeah, it's getting confusing, all of their shows being nameless. It's that art school affectation HBO picked up when it was an undergrad.

I think Somethin' Quirky is referring to Friends with Kids, that terrible-looking movie from Jennifer Westfeldt. I wonder if the famous people are in it as a favor to John Hamm, Westfeldt's longtime boyfriend and a co-star in the movie.

I realize GGC is not up to par with the show's best eps. But, I think a lot of the distaste for it comes from the super-high expectations of S2 being momentarily dashed by the comparative ho-hum-ness of those first few S3 eps. I liked GGC pretty well enough. Britta and Chang had a good sub-plot. Also, how can you go

We could talk about SFU, Afrosponge88. It's my favorite show of all time, too! I am a big geek for it. Sometimes when I have trouble falling asleep, I count episode titles (I know all of them by heart) instead of sheep. Weird and embarrassing fact! If you're not the AVC commenter I'm thinking of, this is going to seem

Man, where you guys been at? You two go on Safari and forget to invite SBT? He's going to be really sad. Or at least, semi-bored!
