I actually think How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb is a pretty fine album. Better than All that You Can't Leave Behind.

Call it "The Fakeblock." It's cleaner. Like "The Netflick."

I forgot about the new binary record-keeping rules.

I was saying boo-urns

You have received the cleansing.

Martin Short took over Maya Rudolph's talk show! It all makes sense now. "I'm very excited to be hosting this show I must say…"

"We Dance Alone" is pretty damn spiffy too

The Information, on the whole, feels a little scattershot to me, but I love the way he raps on the album. I read an interview where Beck said Godrich told him to rap like he was whispering a secret to someone, and it turned out pretty awesome.

I know, that makes me sad. I remember not long after this came out reading an interview with him where he said he hadn't really tried too much r&b and so maybe he'd try it on the next record. I was so pumped for that but then it never happened.

Wasn't the other line something like "You're looking at the master of picking up 14 year old girls"

Ahead of their time.

This one must have been stuck in the AV club spam filter for the past 14 years. Someone finally checked the spam folder.

Just don't be too good or you will be traded.

She calls it a mayonegg!

You're thinking of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

"They can become real"

Bob Loblaw lobs law bomb

The O.C.

This is a great record. Kind of a combo between "Multiply" and "Jim."

12 Desperate Straight Lines is a damn fine album.
