And I like to pretend that I will someday go to those places and eat those sandwiches.

There's a documentary called "Sandwiches that you will like" that has aired a few times on my local PBS station. It is awesome.
You belong to the city! You belong to the night!
Dadgum Jaguars, man. I graduated from USA too. Of course, football was nonexistent while I was there but the baseball team was quite good. I still, on occasion, see a guy I know who was on the team at the time and always greet him with "The bags are full of Jags!" (as the P.a. guy would say when the bases were loaded)
Les Miles is the Tony La Russa of college football coaches: inexplicably bone-headed moves and yet somehow the team still wins.
I've tried, but, I just can't get into Pop culture happy hour, mostly because of how shapeless and stuffy it feels.
Aaaaaand….that Tigers team they faced in the world series kinda limped into the playoffs themselves. Also, the 2000 Yankees lost something like 17 of their last 20 games and still won it all. The key is just getting in; from there anything can happen.
It's entertaining watching that crazy old man Tony La Russa over manage those games. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, I tell ya.
I think the old saying is "If you can get in, you can win." I mean, who woulda thought last year's world series would be Rangers v. Giants. I'd feel a little better about it if we had at least one of Hanson or Jurrjens back (preferably Hanson), but once you get into the playoffs you just never know what may happen.
Ok, Noel: time to talk about how the Braves are limping to the finish line in the most pitiful fashion. It's been hard to watch.
Duck, Duck, Goose & Marco Polo are also getting the "extreme" treatment.
Over-under on the number of jokes about ejaculate in next week's episode of "2 Broke Girls?" I'll set it at 2.
I also enjoyed the "Enjoy your lunch" or whatever it was Ava said to her at the end
"I wear a blazer when it's cold as a jacket; you wear a blazer because of My Morning Jacket!"
I liked it. I liked Up All Night better, honestly, but they both have potential.
Ok, Up all Night. That wasn't bad. Keep it up and I can see this going somewhere.
Ok, let's see…
I will pick…
I read an article about Home like back in '96. They talked about how they put out all their own stuff but I've still never heard anything by them.
Blech. Pretty awful. This doesn't get a spot on the dvr.
