I thought Mad Men's third season was great as well (aside from Don's teacher mistress, who was just dull, IMO) and I was also surprised to see how many people thought it was the weakest. Though I didn't - and still don't - care for Henry, Betty was well-developed in season 3; from what I remember, she had some really

I thought Noomi Rapace was good, but not many other people seem to agree with me on that one. Then again, I also largely liked the movie…

That's rough about Beachy. Hope he's not out for too long.

Gatsby is one of my favorite American lit classics, probably one of the few I read for school that I genuinely loved (though I first read it before I had to do so for class). Is it blasphemous that I've never heard of Winesburg, Ohio? It sounds good, though, like something I should add to my continuously growing Must

I think that is definitely the trend, but honestly, I enjoy the experience of watching a movie in theaters. Then again, aside from a few, choice exceptions, most of my experiences haven't been actively annoying. Watching something on TV or on DVD just isn't the same.

I've heard a surprising number of people who are really interested in Ted. I don't really have anything against it personally, but it just sort of makes me think, Really?

I've always felt that Brave was closer to How to Train a Dragon, which feels weird because it seems like Pixar is suddenly trying to be more like Dreamworks (though How to Train a Dragon was genuinely good). It's disappointing. I hope at least that movie they keep mentioning about going into the mind or something is

Eh, don't think it'll do much to his reputation, especially since the few reviews I read of the movie seemed to think he was the least-terrible thing about it.

That was…beautiful. Yet inscrutable. Just like a Terrence Malick movie.

Not necessarily. While that is often the case, there are many great shows that started off with rocky first seasons, like Buffy and Fringe, just to name a couple.

Agree that this episode was a bit off or hit-and-miss as a finale, but Pete is not a weak character. I've always found him to be one of the most fascinating characters on the show.
