I second the T2 is awesome bit. Haven't seen Revenge, though I might try it sometime.

I have to admit that I actually liked Phillip's new single; it was very Mumford & Son's-esque and not the sort of thing you normally hear from Idol alums. Otherwise, bleh.

That's pretty much exactly what it is, but with more non sequiter musical numbers that enhance neither plot nor the characters and with much less - what do you call it? - common sense on behalf of either the character or the writers.

Up in the Air, 50/50. Even if she does similar characters most of the time, she did it well in those two. I think she deserves better.
If I were going to see Battleship, I'd hate you and your friends so much. Thankfully, I'm not going to see Battleship. So, carry on.
What? He doesn't? Disappointed.
Yeah, props to Tobias for that line.
Yeah, because clearly the people who made this movie needed "plausible" reasons for doing stuff.
Yeah, I don't think that's stopping. I get that they have to incorporate more ads during the show since many people skip the commercials, but still…It's possible to throw in some subtle product placement without being completely obnoxious.

I pity those scrubs.

He directed the FNL movie, which I thought was pretty good. I read somewhere that he agreed to do Battleship so that he'd be allowed to do some other movie. Either way, Battleship looks terrible and I'm actually surprised/disappointed at the number of fairly positive reviews.

I guess I didn't think he would've. It just seemed like a possibility. But honestly, I can't think of the last show whose fans got screwed over this badly.
