Hold on, actually. I'm a die-hard Clash fan. They are my very favorite band.

What? It was so-titled because Dylan had been, uh, tangled up in that album around the time he was writing the song.
I'm surprised that she doesn't love Dylan. He basically dedicated one of the best songs ever to one of her albums.
They should have set Gabe talking to Beaker.
Of all of the lines said in tonight's block, when Erin said "The 1490's", not the part after, is when I laughed the loudest. Just, holy shit. If she said "the eighties" or something it would just be some "my thoughts are racing" dialogue, but that chick has THOUGHT about this.
Plus, Gabe is a welcome addition. Wasn't he in In The Loop? He was great in that, too.
Completely agreed. Radio and Mama Said Knock You Out (that one, especially) were both really great, and I always felt like he could have done more of that quality if he really tried.
Oh, crap.
I think the Michael-Erin dynamic is one of the best things to happen to this show in a while.
I dunno, from what I'm remembering from those titles (not a lot, mind you), I had a lot of fun with those episodes. Maybe it's that I watch the show in a room full of fans which means that every single joke is caught and appreciated, but while I remember both of those episodes lacking pure, unadulterated magic that…
Hrm.
That's a good question. Once-great musicians tend to have a usually-recognized, sometimes-ignored gem in their post-fame discographies, and after a burst of talent passes it's difficult to tell when lightning will strike a second time?
Well, yeah, but the fact that Dr. Spaceman, one of many characters on the show that I might mistakenly refer to as "my favorite", was prominent in one of my least favorite episodes has to say something about it.
I thought it was being really into cars period.
I would have watched Black Cop/White Cop, but it got D+'d.
The worst 30 Rock episode isn't even about what's most haphazard or anything. It needs to have either few laughs or zero big laughs. I can't even remember anything like that. This season's premier and Flu Shot come to mind, but I'm sure there are other contenders.
I've realized that while 30 Rock is no longer my favorite show on television, it still remains the very best joke vehicle out there. I've recently found myself far less concerned with character development that season two did so well and just focusing on being satisfied with the fact that it can pack at least one…
By the way, Songs For Drella would be listed, but it's not really a "solo" album.

I appreciate M3 for being one of the funniest jokes in music.
Just listened.
Okkervil kicks ass as always, but I don't know about Roky's songwriting here. I like some of the tunes, but as an album I just don't know about it.
Yikes.
