How cute. Referring to a community college as a university.

Don't talk like that. 30 Rock is doing nothing close to what happened to The Simpsons.

Yes.
"If life is just a ridiculous series of attempts to feel alive, you're the greatest hero that ever lived."

"I watched three Jonas Brothers and three Robert Pattinson's make out. It was awesome."

FUCK yes.
Such a great twist ending.

Thank you, my combination of Bob Dylan and Eugene Hutz.

My main point is that it isn't declining as fucking crazily as a lot of you think it is. The writing is still wicked sharp. I think if anything is wrong, they'll ease back into it during the season.

No.
I fucking hate you, AV Club. You guys are being overly judgmental of this shit. Great lines abound ("Just say "Jewish", this is taking forever). It didn't flow story-wise all that well, but C is overly harsh, especially considering what you guys give C's to. So you thought this was one step above Transformers

THE NAME OF THIS BAND IS TALKING HEADS

Seriously. I once called Pretzel Logic the most perfect album note for note that I've ever heard. Marquee Moon replaced it, but still.

Make no mistake, Longstreth can really play.

During some of the later songs I do agree that it can feel like Remain In Light.

I like Zappa.
But who cares? I was laughing nice and hard during his little mini-rant. Love Dirty Projectors, man. Love 'em. I always felt like Bitte Orca was more like my favorite Talking Heads album, though: More Songs About Building And Food.

Pretzel Logic is where it's at.

You have to remember that Troy is basically being played by one of the funniest people out there, both in terms of acting and writing. Does Donald write on this show? Anybody know?

When did I ever say I didn't greatly enjoy it?

By the way, Troy writes for 30 Rock and (basically) heads the sketch comedy group Derrick Comedy, the people behind the fucking hilarious sketch Daughters.

I actually rewatched season three recently, and it was a whole lot better than I remember. Often up there with peak episodes like Subway Hero, Jack Gets In The Game, and Cooter.

Absolutely. I'll never get tired of those two.

Okay, maybe not as good as Subway Hero. Still, very, very solid.
