I got through the whole album once before I read the first paragraph of Pitchfork's review. Then I went out and found that interview and read it to kill time during a particularly boring psych class.

And the dude's had a hell of a life, right? I mean, wow.

I'm more inclined to give it an A-, myself.

It's got an element of R&B to it in the same way that Late Registration has an element of soul to it, basically.

I've heard the album. It's actually pretty good. It's no Fishscale, but it's maybe B+ worthy.

It was definitely as good as a top tier 30 Rock episode (Cooter, Tracy Does Conan, Subway Hero), but whoa. Quite a statement, man. Takes courage to go all out like that. I admire that.
