How many disaster movies have been made by women? Might not be statistically meaningful.

Because why would we want to limit ourselves to "just" good stories? Because defining a good story is tricky? Because a strong thematic through-line can help make a story "good"? Lots of reasons.
It seems like a very complicated problem. Declaring someone incapable of making "moral choices" seems as dangerous as hating them for those choices. People aren't inclined to be merciful to people who hurt other people.
He should have just given his hairdresser 10k for the next ten visits. It's the only part if him that resembles Bieber, and it would be a nice thing to do for a hairdresser.
Wasn't the outrage about testing it on possibly unwilling subjects? Not so much the pain ray itself?
But, again, why is gender the dividing line? They are able to write about fire fighters (or spies or soldiers or hit men or bank robbers) without being a firefighter (or even knowing any personally), but instinctively and habitually avoid stories about women who they encounter every single day?
Do "most writers" write what they know? There seems to be tons who write about previous historical periods, magical fantasy worlds, the future, people endowed with super powers, super spies, hard-hearted hit men … They are able and comfortable writing about these amazingly unfamiliar figures, but don't "know" women…
Really? That's the only reason? Or maybe the fact that Poland was the only nation in Europe which had a resistance movement specifically dedicated to saving and protecting Jews had something to do with it? Or the fact that it was the Polish government in exile that actually alerted British and American authorities…
I think you're kind of ignoring how complex the Polish situation actually is. Antisemitism in Poland was certainly rampant, but, along with that is the fact that more Poles saved Jewish people than any other nation in the world. So many Poles saved Jewish people that they are given an entire separate category in the…
I'm afraid that this portrayal of the rural South is pretty accurate. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't investigate the vandalism of the black church now, let alone back in 1995.
Would it make them rich? The money and estate all belong to her son. As far as I can tell, she basically gets a very generous allowance until her own death.
They reviewed all of the episodes of Community that were screened for critics before the fifth season first episode aired as well (it was a general television series review too - like this one). I think they held off until they had been provided with episodes.
Are you sure you don't mean the 20th century? The 19th century was all about women having "round" arms and "dimpled hands." Or are you talking about standards for men?
I think that, even if they weren't born, they still might have different ages. Maybe they spring fully-formed from the Crystal Heart or something.
The show definitely has a different rhythm to it which I really enjoy. It means that I get to be as surprised as the characters by what happens.
I'd love to see it covered. I love the artwork on it's own and that the central characters are so good-hearted.
It's not that uncommon. I know a lot of people who only eat fish. No meat or poultry. It makes sense to have a word for it.
I don't think that there are hard rules. But, from what I understand, generally, a person who says that they are "vegetarian" eats cheese and/or eggs. If you eat neither, you would say that you were "vegan." If you eat fish, you're not a vegetarian.
And a huge explosion (percentage-wise) occurred during the Industrial Revolution, which was also when age-of-consent rules first started being pushed in Europe. Are any of these things causal? I've got no idea. Human behavior is complicated. I don't think it's a coincidence that, when people get richer and…
Well it's obviously best if we're going to use your original definition of "nature." When we began living all together in cities, banding together to domesticate animals and vegetables, our population exploded - we got to successfully breed at an incredible rate. Society gave us the ability to spread like a cancer…
