You know, I thought "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" was one of the best movies about Christianity that I've ever seen.  It was theologically and spiritually interesting, funny, and had great music.

I really love the portrayal of Mel and Jen.  I was an awkward teenager who had lots of kind friends who were very nice to me and supportive.  It makes me dislike the "teenage girls are always mean" trope in television.

In the earlier episode, they said he was closeted and that it was hurting his daughter because he was miserable.  They also mentioned that it was sad because there were plenty of single men in town for him to date, so I think that means that he's not in a relationship with anyone.
