He looks very nice in profile doesn't he?

I got teary when he reached out and touched the stone.  Freeman really made me feel that scene, the loss and loneliness.

I also kind of struggled with everyone immediately assuming that she was right and demanding his arrest.  I mean it would make more sense if they actually had the little girl accusing him, but I don't think that "he's too smart and little traumatized girls don't like him," would count as probable cause (or whatever it

And I think some of it is that, rightly or wrongly, people react worse to a man attacking a woman (even just verbally), than if he were to attack a man.

I liked the flies circling the carcass.  It was a nice artistic flourish.

Honestly, if we're visualizing reality, I think I'd rather we visualize the executives seeing the light and bringing Harmon back.

Did anyone catch how the village cow died in Digital Estate Planning? I wondered if it was spontaneous or one of the characters did something and I missed it.

Oh I totally agree.  I don't think it's a coincidence that talented artists are often difficult to deal with.  To have a unique vision, you're often implicitly rejecting all the regular, accepted stuff that companies love.

While I kind of agree that Harmon might have brought this on himself, and, certainly, no one in life is indispensable in the grand cosmic sense, when you're talking about a work of creative art, I'd say that the person creating the art is fairly indispensable.

I don't think there's much need to blame Chevy Chase.  If Harmon's ridiculous actions in the little feud show anything, it's that he's probably not very good at playing nice or playing politics with self-important windbags.  He probably managed to antagonize and alienate the network people all on his own.

I feel really depressed now.  Glum.  Down in the dumps.  Sad sad sad.
