I went to school with a kid whose uncle owned farmland near Mc Comb,Mississippi where some of Skynyrd's plane wreckage was recovered. I remember coverage of the plane crash being on the 6 o'clock news in New Orleans.
My parents had that live album they recorded at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta,it was in regular rotation…
