This is unrelated to Game of Thrones. I have to say, I love the King Slender avatar! 1986 baby!!

I'm seriously bummed out about the whole thing. I guess they are skipping the reveal at the end of ASOS. Sucks.

I think you missed the point of that scene. She knows that she has Littlefinger wrapped around her finger now. She's playing up her looks and appeal and finally excersizing her new found skill of manipulation.

I actually thought that whole interaction between Littlefinger and the Lords of the Vale was awesome. Even though Littlefinger is a wormy bastard, he tells them flat out that their absence in the war has pretty much contributed to the demise of the north who are supposed to be their allies. Very awesome. I can't

I really thought that whole dialog in the book was awful. It's like right out of "The Princess Bride." I was hoping it would have been left out in the show, or at least saved until the very end of the battle. Nope.

I have to say that this was an amazing review. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

It actually could have happened off screen. Yara/Asha left to free Theon. Maybe when she returns he'll be dead?

It's pretty bad.

I don't think Lady Stonehands will meet Brienne this year. I think we'll prob see Brienne one or two more times just adventuring with Pod. I still think this season ends with the epilogue of ASOS. The timeline is already messed up, so they shouldn't worry about that.

And then next week… ha

Yup, I was surprised by the grade. I thought this episode and last week's were the best so far.

Sarcasm I hope? If not, how much time could they have dedicated to that?

Ha! I didn't even recognize him unit they referred to him as "The Mountain." I knew that the actor was replaced, but didn't know they did so with a barbarian. HA! The dude from season 2 was tall and lanky.

Why? They still have time for that if they get it in soon. The timeline of the show is already screwed up.

It was probably also a reminder that Yara/Asha is Theon's sister.

She didn't. It was kind of ironic hearing Tyrion refer to her as a whore on the show.

Very good point and perspective on the scene. I get it. The only issue I had with the scene is that it was poorly executed. Like, Asha gives this big speech and then within two minutes they are running back to their boat.

Yup. Good call. It's like all of a sudden she turned into book Shae.

I don't mind the reduction/compression of the Ironborn story. I felt like it weakened the books. I might be in the minority, but I am not a fan of the Victarion/Euron story lines in the books. I like Asha and Theon and I enjoyed the Dance With Dragons storyline, but the others I could do without.

I thought it was the best intro to date.
