If Chalky gets it at any point in this show, I'm done watching it. HA! He's my favorite character next to AC.

Yea, I can't argue that one. HA!!
I'm not a fan of spin-offs, but I think a spin-off of Chalky could be awesome. I've been interested in his story line from the beginning. There's so much there too. So much history.
Well said. Coreyt… are you watching the show? HA!!
I think this is a great show. I do agree about Arquette. I don't buy anything about her. She seems out of place among the rest of the cast, and frankly she hasn't aged well. She looks like a worn out bartender. Why is Nucky interested??
I also heard rumors that Michael Pitt wasn't really interested in doing this show from the start. He's an Indy movie actor, and wanted to stay on that course. Maybe they knew he was sort of a rental.
This show is very similar to the Sopranos in that it's heavily driven by the atmosphere and character development and interaction. I like all of the characters with the exception of Van Alden, Gillian, and Margaret. Actually, I loved Van Alden in season one, but they've since turned him into a sappy wimp.
Amen. I think actress is gorgeous, but I REALLY loathe her character.
Margaret needs to go. The show has been doing fine without her.
At home? HA!!!! Brilliant. I have the answer Keith. Miami residents all were aware of Dexter's super hacking skills. A security system would have been a waste of money. Also, think about how many houses he broke into over the years. How many dogs did he confront? 2? 3? 7/10 people on every block in every neighborhood…
HA!!! Perfect.
I love reading people trying to make logical sense of that mess of a finale. It was the sloppiest writing ever, but it wasn't surprising since it basically followed the trend of the entire season.
It would be interesting to re-watch the whole thing to see if always sucked. I don't think so though. The 1st and 4th seasons were really entertaining, and so was the 2nd until the whole Doakes thing at the end. It was WAY over the top.
Yea, it's an odd gripe. HA!! It's not even really a gripe. It's like, I love the acting, the setting, etc., etc. Yet, when I think about the path of the story I just wonder where it's going. By season 4 of the Sopranos, you had a sense that Tony was going to be in conflict with N.Y., further conflict with his family,…
Also, the early seasons captured more the atmosphere of Miami. They used to show Dexter driving down through town at night with voiceovers describing the wild Miami night scene. There was actually sense that it was a dangerous city. By season four… poof… all gone.
Seaants, did you read my post? "I thoroughly enjoy watching it," is what I stated above. I just don't know where it's headed at all.
Yup, and Dexter is so quick to pass off his son to another convict. A woman that he claims to love. A woman that tried to kill his sister, and drugged him. COME ON!!! HAA!!!!!
What about the whole Batista-LaGuerta marriage. TOTAL WASTE. They just threw that in to add another meaningless subplot. Here's the proof that it was never actually intended. LaGuerta gets killed, and Batista reacts as if she's just a co-worker. He was married to her. He should have been devastated. He should have…
I've only watched this show a handful of times, but the main dude in "How I Met Your Mother" is PAINFULLY boring. I don't know how that dude has an acting job, one, and how is the lead character on a popular show.
That's because Dexter is never around. How can he love a man who leaves him in the custody of another known felon?
