I honestly got the impression Don is way more concerned about ego, about getting it "the right way" than he is about Joan's experience. I don't think he's being a good one, I think he's still being an asshole, just in a different way. Don's hired prostitutes before. He's no saint.

Totally agree. This is my favourite season of Jackie yet, and I did the whole bargaining thing in my head about Tara "No, take Jackie instead!" But this is really good!

I've watched it through 3 times and have most deeply identified with a different character each time, which I suppose is the outcome of watching it 3 times from ages 19-24.
