Eric Van Lustbader
The Bourne Legacy was the first of five (and counting) terrible continuation novels written by Eric Van Lustbader, not by the rotting, spinning corpse of Robert Ludlum. Research does a body good.

I think FortyTwo hit the nail on the head. Sudeikis leaping on every time on just the right beat and dancing his heart out, and the unpredictability of the guests they manage to get, are what make that sketch the only reliably entertaining recurring one. I dread the day they decide it would make a decent movie.

Ah, a new addition to my obsessive collection of Christopher Guest movies that I keep behind glass and will never watch.

Sold out in D.C.?
It would seem to be sold out at Washington's E Street Cinema. I answered the survey and got to the Movietickets site but the showtime link doesn't work.

[James L. Brooks walks out]

Welcome to the Club, HKP! I'm sure you will always have a stimulating comment about which everyone will think long and hard.

Were you a writer on "Oz"?

Is Harvey Keitel's Penis anyone's login name yet? Better grab it fast, lurkers!

First Star Tours and now this??!
Those goddamn Lucases just can't let us mourn our nation's lost innocence without trying to make a buck, can they??

Hold on your butts, it gets weirder.
Comic artist John Byrne based the appearance of Sebastian Shaw on that of British actor Robert Shaw, who appeared in Jaws as the character Quint, which is the pseudonym of a writer on …. wait for it… Ain't it Cool News!

It only takes some spare change to sleep with a porn star?? And I've been wasting hundreds on legitimate whores.

Mitch H
I'd be more excited if it were Mitch Hedberg writing it. Hey, if Michael Jackson can keep putting out new albums . . .

Or right before the Army brings their tanks to save you from The Mist.

Lev Grossman?
It's oddly random that Cruise is so interested in playing the author of The Magicians.

correction
"And the 9-5 job of making 200 pound of blue meth a week grinds to a halt as Hank Walt spends the next several hours enduring Skyler's accusing glances and becoming, briefly, the beneficiary of her calming influence on Marie."

I thought the Marriage Ref thing was just a subtitle, I couldn't tell the difference.

That scene and especially the line quoted in Stray Observations seemed like it was straight out of a Simpsons script. Which isn't saying it's a bad thing.

Lisa?
I did not see or hear Lisa at all, was Yeardley on vacation?

This is the last song that I will dedicate to you.
