As they should!
As they should!
Maybe I just forgot about her being that bad (because I honestly don’t have much fondness for that season in general)
interesting, ive seen nothing but people calling Daya sour, unpleasant and rude
I haven’t seen Daya get much of a pass at all. The group I was with booed when she won that first lip sync.
Silkie was crossing lines that Daya didn't cross. Your memories are kind to Silkie if you compare both cases.
I’m kinda hoping now that Jasmine is gone that Daya will have less reasons to be a dick.
I see Daya gets a lot of leeway with fans as far as being an unpleasant pain in the ass. Whereas queens like Silkie and Vixen got dragged. Wonder why (for the record not a fan of any of them).
That’s true...but impossible to achieve with the narrative arc that the writers decided to develop this season. If they had decided to develop an AS6 “everyone’s a winner!” story arc, Daya’s bitching wouldn’t be necessary to carry all of the storylines, and we wouldn’t be seeing it. The queens have absolutely no power…
Anyone who says “I’m just saying what everyone’s thinking”, 1) doesn’t know what everyone’s thinking, 2) probably doesn’t care what anyone else is thinking, 3) probably is incorrect in their thinking.
This season would be exceptionally boring without Daya,
Daya is awful. This season’s Kandy Muse. Blech! 🤮
I like this cast but I’m still ready for half of the remaining queens to be gone. 11 episodes in and we’ve only had six eliminations? I wish there had been more than one departure this episode - surely the producers could’ve rigged it for a Daya-Jasmine double sashay away. Watch them pack their bags at the same time,…
Daya insisting she’s ‘just saying what everyone is thinking’ is like an alcoholic buying everyone drinks at the bar so they can pretend everyone has a problem.
I even wonder how bad this Snatch Game was really. There have been other years when it was bad. AS3, everyone except for Ben Delacreme and (only sometimes) Shangela faceplanted. No one was good in s11. S4 was an actual nightmare. But RuPaul seemed to try to trip up the ones who had a chance of gaining their footing…
Production has rewarded her with the exceptionally rare “complicated” edit in return: she’s not really a villain, and she’s certainly not a hero, but she’s getting an awful lot of screen time for someone who’s not going to win.
I find it refreshing - but I’m uncertain that’s been to Daya’s detriment with the viewership at large, in the way it’s been for other filter-less queens - Kandy Muse, Violet, Ginger.
The acrobatics and energy Jasmine showed through three consecutive Syncs should have gotten her through—how impressive! I mean one third of the way through the first song I would be sitting sideways on the stage drinking Vitamin water and trying to stop the stream of sweat off my face.
This episode just… didn’t seem to need to happen.
This episode just… didn’t seem to need to happen. Yes, Snatch Game was bad. But Daya Betty was correct: not everyone was disastrous, some would’ve been safe in other seasons. The final outcome could’ve happened last week.
