The Flag-Smashers never went quite so far as to say it in those words, but they were quite clear about how much they wished all the people who came back could just go away again in some non-specific way.

The actress is not bad, but Tecteun was a really lame villain, disappointing  given her connection to the doctor, feels like a wasted opportunity. Even as evil time lords go she and her motivations were awfully generic

I’m going to laugh if RTD handwaves the pointless Timeless Child bunk out of continuity.

Yaz in period clothes has consistently been a highlight of this era of the show

Another episode I found massively fun to watch.

The Division sucks all the joy out of everything (and not in a good way), but having said that Yaz’s 1904 fits were fire, as the kids say (do the kids still say that?)

The Seer was one hell of a one-scene wonder, I loved him so much. The Ood no-selling the ‘rabbit out of a hat’ line was a good humor beat, too.

I quite liked the Himalayan seer’s dad jokes.

I loved Yaz bossing her team around and making fun of Dan for being so proud of being from Liverpool, but him cheering her up when he realized she was sad & must miss the doctor & promising her she would see her again

Eight Crazy Nights didn’t do anything to alleviate how few Hannukah movies there are, because it’s more a movie about calling people freaks and retards and stuff.  It’s absolute dogshit and I can’t believe you’d even try to recommend it, honestly.

But Kate would be born in 1999/2000 so she is very much Gen Z. Natasha was a Millennial.

Ant-Man’s appearance in “Rogers: The Musical” gibes with my pet theory of “How Much the Public Knows and How They Know It”:

Regarding Eleanor, did anybody else think it was a bit weird she just disappeared in the opening scene once the attack on NY started? I know it would have been all confusion etc etc, but she should still have been found, or at least heard by Kate. Instead, she turns up again randomly oh and we never see what actually

I finally got the chance to watch the episodes and while I recognize that the LARPing was cartoonish, it still made me laugh. It went on slightly longer than strictly necessary, but I’m enjoying world-weary Clint way more than I thought I would. I had a feeling Kate would be great, but to enjoy both of them so much is

Tony “Lalo” Dalton? ? I’m almost hoping he isn’t the bad guy because my contempt for Lalo on Better Call Saul is at 11. I don’t need him to be another bad guy.

Hailee Steinfeld is also quite good in Dickinson over on Apple+, if you want to see more of her comedic+dramatic chops.

On the one hand it was definitely an enjoyable piece of television.

I was never fond of Renner so I went in with low expectations but he’s not being especially grating and Steinfeld is a gift so I’m definitely enjoying it so far.

One thing that pinged my radar: Clint and his kids left Rogers halfway through and the show had already covered the Battle of New York; so it’s suddenly possible that the events of Endgame — or at least some version of them — were covered in the second half of that show. It’s been bugging me for awhile, wondering how

Fun start, and I’m already disappointed there’s only six episodes ordered. Love Steinfeld, and really hope we see more of her.

Maybe Season 2 can be Kate solo in LA, like the Kelly Thompson Hawkeye series.

The action scenes were slightly disappointing, compared to Falcon/Winter Soldier and the Netflix shows, but I
