It’s possible to hate the right wing government of Israel without being anti-Semitic.

And Bowen Yang doing his best So You Think You Can Dance lyrical performance because that’s exactly what I want to do when I hear that bridge.
It’s one of those sketches where, if I knew it was written by white writers, I would probably be more critical of stereotypes, but I guess knowing one of them was black and knowing the show tends to go for overly broad characters in general made me give that a pass. I see what you mean though.
It reminded me of the Adele skit when Emma Stone was hosting and how everybody couldn’t stop crying the moment one of Adele’s songs was played. It’s the same idea, how emotional songs make everyone emotional, except in this case, it involves a bunch of mainly manly men and a song about teenagers sung by a teenager. On…
I wouldn’t go past good. All made me laugh at some point, but will any of them be remembered in 10 years? Loco, maybe but it will be dated... The interview or Ice Cube, I’m sorry, Coldy Squares sketch...
That Freddy Kruger thing was so stupid. I loved it.
You think this week’s audience was off a leash, wait until next week.
Maybe my favorite episode of the season. Nearly every sketch had me in stitches (the talk show one was my only real miss).
i was truly blown away by how good of a host rege-jean page one. guy is a superstar! also bad bunny clearly LOVES doing comedy and it’s infectious to watch. hope he hosts one day soon!
I know SNL moves on from former ‘friends of the show’ all the time (just look at Rudy...), but after the years that they were basically the Timberlake Clubhouse, it was still a bit jarring when they let through that expert dig at him from Chloe’s Britney.
When I get mixed up on him, I blame Bhad Baby, the cashmeousside girl.
I will never get tired of Pete making fun of Staten Island and/or Jost.
Props to everyone in the shanty song. It just sounded REALLY good. And yeah, Pete killed it with that Cuomo, especially with his shutdown of Cruz. I rewound that part. I also paused the ep to look up & save Olivia Rodrigo’s song on YouTube. Definitely something I would have listed to on repeat back in my college days. …
Dan Feinberg on Twitter described last night as going with ALL ten-to-one sketches, which I think is a good—if not necessarily entirely accurate—way to describe the weirdness.
The show’s on a nice little run with this string of consecutive episodes. Nothing extraordinary, no all-time classics, but they’ve been consistently amusing without any real clunkers.
The whole night felt like everyone involved, from the audience to the writers to the cast were all half drunk or stoned. Lots of high energy and weird sketches cheered on by the loudest audience I’ve heard in awhile. The cast seemed loser than normal- Cecily and Mikey never break yet both did during their skits and…
I feel like the real Gina Carano is probably okay with Ted Cruz.
I don’t think I realized until I was halfway through this recap and actually watching the Sea Shanty sketch that I have absolutely no idea who Bad Bunny is. In my head, I was expecting Lady Bunny.
The ad agency sketch made me laugh harder than anything else on the show in a long time.
“Let’s Say Grace.” I thought (hoped) Aidy was going to twerk. “Loco” was just insane, loved it.
