Yeah, for a variety of reasons, it seems shameful to admit as much, now, but I actually feel the same way about the X-Men movies as a whole vs the MCU (granted I haven’t seen all of the MCU films, and yes, it’s ridiculous to compare such a vast, and in some ways diverse franchise). Granted, while as a teen I didn’t

They were explicitly mentioned as Wakandan aid workers stationed in Lagos in the aftermath.

As long as you enjoy it and are polite and respectful, you’re never too old. The worst fans are the hugely entitled kinds - I wish there were more of them who have the attitude you seem to have.

The only Marvel character I followed as a child was Spider-Man. He was my absolute favorite, but otherwise, I was into DC full time. I wholly agree with you that it’s amazing to watch this universe unfold, in all it’s inclusive and equitable glory.

I had been wondering if they might do a post-credit “Sit, Ubu, Sit! Good dog.” Glad it got the nod in the episode.

Family Ties famously added a baby to the family who was suddenly four years old when they came back for the new season.

About Vision’s corpse: he died roughly five years before this is taking place, right?

Oh, can’t believe I forgot to say this: Paul Bettany’s performance in the final scene might be a career highlight, particularly when he/Vision expresses how scared he is. Also, because I like Wanda, I’m inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt when she claims she did not create and is not controlling the Hex - at

No mention of Agnes’ very interesting reaction when it was hinted Wanda can bring the dead back to life? That seemed extremely important to me, though I don’t think we know enough yet to account for it.

I don’t know what machine they’re testing Monica with in the scene where we’re reintroduced to her (X-ray maybe?), but the fact that it comes out blank could very well be an indication that that Wanda-blast/the Hex in general is going to be the catalyst for her powers.

So I guess someone must’ve wrote up an incredibly thorough account of the events in Endgame after the events in the movie because there’s zero way that Monica should know that thing about Wanda almost single-handedly taking out Thanos in Endgame.

Keep in mind, Wanda’s Sokovian accent did appear in Endgame. “You took everything from me.” Her accent comes back out when she’s distressed.

The people of the down have clearly, when able, said “SHE is controlling them”.   Maybe pointing to someone else other then Wanda.

Just want to point out two things:

He begs Vision to stop Wanda: “She’s in my head. None of it is my own. It hurts. It hurts so much. Just make her stop.”

Once I manage to shake my childhood amazement that characters like Wanda Maximoff or Monica Rambeau (who were lucky to even get an action figure) are playing central roles in a major franchise (one that, due to circumstances no one could have expected, is basically THE major MCU attraction for most of the year, and

Im wondering who but couldn't come up with anyone

The logical outcome of of this storyline is that it’ll eventually end up as a Charlie Kaufman movie.

“Wait, they recast Pietro?”

I like the idea that the X-Men movies were created by Wanda in the same way she created the sit-com world as a safe space for her brother like the sit-com one is for Vision. And like the sit-coms every time we go back to the X-Men they’ve moved forward a decade. And it would explain why his character usually gets

Just so I’ve got it in writing, I think the missing witness-protection guy is the Vision.

I think you got it wrong and are way to hard on Haywood. Sure, he’s a load... but you’re dealing with people who watched the ‘Snappening’ and the return. New York nearly gets destroyed in Avengers 1, Avengers 2, a whole country bites it... and it only got worse. There’s no way any Government is going to mess around
