She gives herself an acting role in virtually all of her projects. That’s in fact what the joke of the “Mean Girls” musical was supposed to be. And I’m sure the only reason she isn’t going to perform in the Mean Girls musical is that she can’t really sing and dance and didn’t want to commit to doing 7 shows a week or

I agree. I also watch SNL only off of DVR the next day and keep it on a very short leash, skipping liberally. It makes the show much more palatable.

I actually thought “Breastworld” was good by the standards of RPDR prewritten sketches

First of all I’m an Eeeyore and would defend a fellow Eeyore to the death but Kameron’s not an Eeyore. As I say above she’s just incredibly stoic and clear eyed about how she views things including her own performances and therefore far more accurate in these conceptions than the other queens. It doesn’t make for

“If anything, Kameron was extremely self aware that her acting performance wasn’t acceptable enough for her hilarious runway look to redeem. She has been humble and self aware all season long.”

Right but that’s against SNL convention. A live sketch typically leads into the final goodnight from the host

Her early standup was very good and the first 2 or 3 seasons of “Inside Amy Schumer” were mostly brilliant. And I would say some of her material was groundbreaking in bringing a woman’s perspective to sex, realtionships etc. in a brutally frank way that hadn’t been done before.

Yeah I think it’s great too. But most of the people who comment on these recaps are joyless assholes who hate everything.

I thought the monologue was really funny. My wife was in hysterics and she seldom actually literally “lols” at things on television.

There also was a lot less other entertainment back then and you couldn’t time shift TV shows

It’s been a machine for decades. It’s what accounts both for its longevity and its mediocrity.

Make a lot of sense you’d comment on a recap of the show then

“Has beens” don’t typically have the lead role in a wide release movie currently in the theater and don’t typically host SNL. You’re saying she’s sliding “slowly”. I guess it must be really slowly. (NOte that I’m not commenting on how funny or talented she is or any other matters just that she’s not, objectively, a

I thought it was funny. I like the character and thought she was funny both times she did it.

Really am not seeing the similarity between the girl who thinks her parents are cool character and the bad at sex talk character other than that they’re both played by brown women.

Yes it was a parody of a real group and spot on

I’m 45 and I grew up in completely white rural Indiana and I recognized what they were parodying immediately. “The Rain” is just a crazy funny problematic song that transcends everything.

The pillow talk sketch was my favorite of the night. I loved both the first and this iteration. Perkins and everyone else are way off base here

I’m guessing the same thing as well but also who cares?

So . . .let me get this straight. Are you trying to say you’re a fan of “Community” and like it alot? I’m not sure what you’re getting at.
