But if they actually did make good on the statement and kill someone I”m sure you’d say that was bad too so . . .

He did graduate from one of Canada’s top business schools with really good grades

Why would it be so terrible if he was using part of the show’s budget for non-sexual companionship with a sex worker who also seems like a really great person? I mean, he can see how “the show’s budget” thing would be inappropriate but other than that I don’t see a problem.

But as far as I can tell no one has yet pointed out that your username contains “the Blind”

It’s just amazing how many folks (talking more about the commenters than Alex here) will go out of their way to find weird nitpicks and look for every possible excuse they can find to not enjoy something. I think it’s because the rush of feeling like you’ve outsmarted a show or whatever is more pleasurable than just

Racist? I’m pretty sure he works for the Dark Army, which is a shadowy organization controlled by the Chinese government. Not everyone shown to be working for the Dark Army have been Chinese but I think many or most have.

I agree. I’m a huge fan of the show but was kind of down on this season. However, I found this episode to be one of the best the series has ever done and it almost completely redeemed this season for me. I’m baffled that more fans don’t seem to feel that way.

That sight gag with Jaime was one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a long time. I seldom laugh out loud to stuff I’m watching at home, no matter how funny I find it, but I laughed LOUD at that. Best joke of the season.

I completely disagree:

1. Elliot was formally “separated” from E Corp

I think Portia Doubleday is the show’s secret weapon. She is SO GOOD in the episodes that have more thriller-like elements. With those eyes her facial expressions are just so intense and really help ramp up the tension.

Seriously? He had a Bernie sticker on his monitor dude

I wish all the characters were as “cheesy” as Carmen

That’s exactly the problem. They are purely utilitarian. All they do is advance the plot without either a)sounding like natural human speech or b)being funny or interesting in some other way. There’s an exercise writers do called “expository dialogue” where just to get the ball rolling and figure out the characters

Irving’s monologue about the ribs made me think it was hinting that everything we’re seeing is within a computer simulation Elon Musk sort of thing.

I just see grey vaguely humanoid blob shapes everywhere

Even within the US due to pop culture (and every other facet of life) being so segregated there are lots of successful black entertainers who only play to black audiences and are barely known by white people. That said Haddish is probably one of the least broadly famous people to host SNL in a long time, particularly

Legion is the best Marvel TV show so far. Agent Carter was good. I’d place this behind those two but ahead of all of the overrated Netflix crap

It was referencing the Trump campaign, not the Trump presidency

I agree largely with your take on the show, though I do think the show has gone a little bit downhill since Season One, which was my favorite TV season in a long time. But Kinja is a big part of it, sadly. It just doesn’t facilitate big long discussions like the disqus based system did.

Yes and yes
