Bachelor #2 is still one of my favorite albums, probably because it captures a certain period of life for me pretty damn well.  I was able to see her at the Carnegie in Pittsburgh when she was winding down the very long tour that she did for that album and she puts on a great show.  Good stage presence and everything.

Completely forgot about Waxwork.  I swear I saw it not on Cinemax during the '80s but some channel like A&E.  Probably around the same time they used to run a series about low budget horror/sci-fi films, which is where I first heard about Evil Dead.

As much as I like Soundgarden and most early-mid '90s music, "Live to Rise" sounds exactly like the kind of song I would have tried to listen to several times before giving up.  I love me some 1998 rock but there is nothing to see here.  Inoffensive for sure, but time to move on.  Can't even say that I'm cautiously
