Whatever, dad…
Whatever, dad…
I also think that Before Sunset isn't so bad either, and picks up the story in a way that I really didn't expect. After consideration, I'm finding I prefer his smaller movies much better than the bigger budget ones. I can honestly say I've seen maybe 30 minutes of School of Rock and probably won't ever see any more,…
D&C is definitely entertaining, but I tend towards Before Sunrise as his best. Perhaps because it captured a time and place pretty well, but it's a movie I still come back to every few years just to make sure I still feel the same about it. Still holds up well for me, despite some stilted dialogue here and there.
The trailer seemed that he may have toned it down a bit for once, but as someone already mentioned, hard to get a feel on comedies based off of trailers.
I'm wondering that the Vegas odds are on this getting a decent grade here (the AVC trailer ad + interview combo never being all that positive a sign before the movie comes out, you know).
It's probably safe to say that this is on the opposite side of the spectrum from Waking Life. But I also like Linklater, so I'm a bit biased.
who watches trailers?
"I'm the Angel of freakin' Death you turdhead" sold me on the greatness that this movie encapsulates.
Forgot all about that, a clear sign of genius on David's part for being self aware enough to have that said (although seeing how reports of how much is improvisation on the show, who knows? Doesn't really matter though.)
Same for Seinfeld. Without re-reading, I'm assuming Friends was mentioned as well. Frasier. Cheers. Hell, probably 90% of all TV reviews here probably don't have a primarily non-white cast member.
"battered highway cone" and the scene with Nadia naming what she likes about America saved the episode. Mc Mouse!
I actually didn't mind the absurdity of this episode, and the idiocy of nearly every aspect of it. I was also fairly drunk, so for some reason (haha!) that Wilson would end up with cancer this late in the show makes perfect sense. Whenever I see this last season in reruns I'm going to have to make sure I have at…
See above…
I like Peter Gabriel, and whoever the fuck Goateeyagh is, he is no Peter Gabriel. It would be nice to not see these comparisons.
Considering that I don't care (well…I am posting on this) but I don't care about Gotye or his songs. That I laughed during SNL during the spoof of his video having never seen it says a lot in regards to his music and the accompanying video.
I'm just trying to figure out why there is so much press over Anchorman 2. I liked the first one, sure, it had laughs, but so fucking what? I liked Grosse Pointe Blank but I'm not screaming all over the interwebs for a sequel years later. I like the actors in both, but I just don't see why this is such a big deal.
I'm just gonna watch Last Waltz again and call it a day.
Thank God, etc, that everyone else has said what I wanted to. Fuck this film, although I'm sure it is going to gain the ranks of Ballistic and all the Transformers movies for me. I.E. good bad movies.
I appreciate the fact that I had to do the same because of a similar post a few days ago. OTP needs to be shot in the head.
This link made my day. NOTE: I'm easily amused. Thanks.
