Familiarity and all that. Plus, the animation is smooth and easy to look at and far more inviting than all that live action nonsense.

Yep.
Dayum, the first Abercrombie book is only about 530 pages? I'll have that finished by tea time. Seems like a series that would be easy enough to power through, might give that a shot first
I've been intrigued to try the Malazan series and all these comments have convinced me to take the plunge. Anything to try and distract me from attempting to get through the Wheel of Time again (someday, someday)
I think my indifference towards Catwoman, even today, is down to the fact that my introduction to her (through TAS) was less than inspired. I'm not a fan of any of the Catwoman episodes. It's stayed with me for life and she's still a character I struggle to get excited about.
I like Night of the Ninja
It's ninjas *shrugs*
It was a bit too blatant on screen for me. I know it's no big deal but at least it was kinda a mystery in the books (for a bit at least) who the two figures were (well Varys more than Illyrio). And if this show needs anything, it's more mysteries.
Brilliant idea
I won't be commenting often, but I love reading the perspectives of non-readers on this series so I'll be checking out David's reviews, nothing like seeing the reaction of people who have no idea what's ahead of them. Great stuff guys.
So… umm…
Is that the end of the tourney? Are they introduced Loras some other way?
Best joke= the cannibal one the German's made.
Gimli!
Surely the fact that Rhys-Davies voiced Josek is enough to bump this up a grade.
I'm sure they're just not showing their hand with Gillen straight away so I'm willing to be patient. Todd did say he was perfect for the role, so I'd assume he improves later on.
It'll be hard to regulate but I am all for the idea.
Also
While I'm glad Todd is covering this series, it's interesting to read a non-readers perspective on things.
Littlefinger!
At last…
Seasons 3-6 is probably the golden period, with season 6 being the absolute zenith.
The Hound
Does his characterisation seem off to anyone else? Granted, I haven't read the earlier chapters of AGOT in some time, so maybe it wasn't made that apparent straight away, but shouldn't he be a bit more psychopathic?
Southsiders will be too busy mourning Leinster's exit from the Heineken Cup to bother going to this
James Cromwell?
10s a bit steep too, that's about two pints
