Hey, at least SDSU has that ace pitcher who's looking like he's gonna be the #1 overall pick in the MLB draft this year, and is expected to rake in $50 million as a rookie.

Chakotay wasn't in Starfleet. He was a Maquis. He and the rest of the Maquis just wore Starfleet unis on Voyager so they could fit in with the crew (and save the costume designers money).

While we're on the subject of authors, I fucking hate Tom Clancy.
I love a good techno-thriller, but his complete ignorance of how cultures outside the US actually operate irritates the hell out of me every time. And his depiction of American culture is typically pretty god damn stereotypical and ignorant too.
