I'm not saying in practice I don't care about Unique but Glee makes it a little hard for me to care about Unique, Kurt, and pretty much every male character because of their ill treatment of women characters.

The show will never acknowledge Will is a bad influence/teacher.

I definitely don't think Glee should be shittier to Unique. Not sure why I can't make a case for them to treat both equally without it having to come across as me saying Unique shouldn't matter at all.

I'm not advocating that we don't treat the transgender kid (Unique) with care and grace but this show has a tendency to treat characters like Kurt, Blaine, Unique etc. with compassion while turning a blind eye to the women characters.

How come Glee brushes over Marley's fear and uncomfortableness of dressing provocatively (which she got in trouble for) but not Unique's or Kurt's.
