Rachel walking into Jessica's office and bargaining is probably the most powerful scene they've ever given a woman character on this show.

Well when you put it like that, yea. The problem is the show won't just forget it. You can't have Mike believably threatening Jessica or going over her head and getting away with it. He can pretty much do whatever he wants without repercussions because of his big secret.
