damn..these guys are still together?

I think you're right. She seemed pretty impressed with Rachel walking in there with that offer.
That's what I'm wondering.
It's supposed to deter her, out of fear for her own career. Jessica is the boss, she's not going to go on good faith that Rachel will never spill the beans. So this way if Jessica goes down, so does Rachel. Jessica can piss anyone off because Rachel would never say anything, out of fear for Mike's career. I think…
Rachel walking into Jessica's office and bargaining is probably the most powerful scene they've ever given a woman character on this show.
When in doubt, just think "wrong".
so excited for The Legend of Korra!
I just watched this and was completely blown away. I think Toro is at his best when he focuses on horror and the spanish civil war as a background theme.
Yes, Mike definitely thinks of himself as a nice person which just makes him come off as a self-righteous prick. I started noticing that in the second season.
Yeah, I'm kind of starting to feel that way about his character. Though they gave us that back story (funds for grandma) for his actions which kind of made me overlook all that stuff. I do think they're making a point to really show him turning into Harvey, so they've amped up his ass-hole-ness.
It does seem that this is just to add unnecessary drama but really, they can still be in a relationship. Every time a female character on this show has a decision they're riddled with doubt or concern or aren't allowed to do something because of how it affects the male characters. The only exception to that, is…
@avclub-26c0eb74eb2e815d15918a4ac46473ec:disqus I didn't say it made Mike a bad guy, I'm saying his response and the way he decides to get his points across are somewhat cruel. The way he dismissed Rachel after he egged her on to list more items on the "things that annoy me" list was douchey.
Just because Mike asks Rachel to move in, doesn't mean she isn't entitled to her choices. They brought up Stanford recently, so this didn't just come out of nowhere. Harvard was her dream school but that's been shown to only be based off of her desire to work at Pearson & Hardman. You can say one school is better than…
Yes. I think Columbia was her back up plan to Stanford.
Once I saw that mug, that's all I thought about for the remainder of the show.
y u so smart skyler
thug status.
Get in line!
Stop, you're tickling my funny bone.
Well when you put it like that, yea. The problem is the show won't just forget it. You can't have Mike believably threatening Jessica or going over her head and getting away with it. He can pretty much do whatever he wants without repercussions because of his big secret.
