I decided to follow watching the US version with a bit of the UK original, careful not to outpace the story. Pour la bonne bouche. Once a week.

Try as I might , Channel 13 (PBS) has new Poirot conflicting with this show's first half an hour. I then switch and can only see plot holes. Really? "You are his son because your eyes are blue? No s* Sherlock!" I have to admit though, using the mixer instead of a shredder was quite original!

Channel 13 (the local PBS) aired Sherlock - the Blind banger at the same time. I switched during commercials and at the end. I know now for a fact why I'll always adore Sherlock and only tune into Elementary if I don't forget/have something better to watch. With Sherlock, everything, the music, the acting, the little

The word is French. Different approaches to pronouncing French - on different sides of the ocean/in space.

I went on Tumblr and one thing struck me: the comments that sparked this article were made ABOUT ONE YEAR AGO! Apparently, as Elementary is about to premiere, someone thought to rekindle this old chestnut. Which makes the whole storm in a cup of tea even more irrelevant.

As for "dismissing "Elementary" based on the fact thatWatson is Asian"- Nice straw man you put there. Personally, I dismissed it based on the many trailers I saw - especially the monumental statement that "now finally there will be some chemistry between Sherlock and Watson". Take THAT, slashers!

Yet another layer of phony to this sad concept…

Good for him! I love his candor (and style). Also, he has been very much visible, having starred in another British series Parade's End. Just because it didn't air in the US, it doesn't mean it didn't happen. Elementary sounds incredibly stupid and this comes from a New Yorker who loves her city and Lucy Liu. CBS

In the opening, Walt looked like he was setting an alibi for himself - making sure that, if asked, he would be remembered for having stopped there.

An Oscar is deserved also for The Night of the Generals - the most chilling character on screen before No Country for Old Men. I had a crush on this guy for decades!

Should have been cast as Dumbledore in Harry Potter instead of Gambon as Richard Harris's family urged the producers. He is as good with words as he is with acting, "a dried eye and grateful farewell" His autobiography was entitled "Loitering with intent". I hope he writes a lot!
