thank god
Chuck deserves a full season.

i don't know
I like the feel and mood of this show. Exchanges in dialogue are direct, but poetic. It can be calm and understated, then bolstered with moments of well scripted chaos. Characters are observant and reflective and flawed.

just a little typo
Ruxin got the bomb-box courtesy of Kevin, not himself.

THANKS FOR YOUR INTERESTING THOUGHTS!

musings
I agree totally with the Kale/ Ben from "Lost" comparison. Ambiguous, inexplicable characters can be frustrating to some, and riveting to others. When the writing is top notch, the latter is almost always the case.

And we have a winner.

That right there, the bit about Breaking Bad, is the envy. Kudos.

'Blunt Cunt' - a show about a straight-forward thoroughly-hated woman.

I've heard that shows with rhyming titles have enormous success. That's why I've started pitching 'Duck Fuck' a show about ducks.

Would it be safe to say that this show's run on AV Club recaps is over? I'd rather read about what happened on Tosh.O. That being said, I do enjoy the bite and grip of your criticism, Todd.

Jesus tokomini. He meant 'your'. Typos are fun.

If you're only exposure to his stand-up has been this series, I agree. Watch his specials, and I apologize for the shit in your pants.

Good stuff
Although the last bit (dressed as a cop, not a cop, robbery, confusion) didn't work for me, I think this episode was a success. People are hating on the heckler bit for being too painful. Don't watch this show if you feel uncomfortable watching extreme uncomfortable situations. I thought that would have

Same here.

Skipskatte - Right on point. A notable example was her arguing with Sam AGAINST a policy that would have raised wages of working women to equal those of their male counterparts. Her argument was valid. Something to the tune of —why is that the my government has to institutionalize a policy that ought to stand by

abcdefz - Wasn't that the first time she was face-to-face with the President though? I mean, I agree about her being overly flummoxed (great word) but I think the writers loved painting Bartlet as having this overwhelming effect on people.

***should read (couldn't AGREE with him more). Sometimes I forget to add words to thought.

Yeah, in hindsight I think the Rob Lowe - Aaron Sorkin partnership was sort of doomed from the start. Both of them have a 'my way or the highway' type attitude. However, I do think that Lowe has since expressed some degree of remorse over leaving the show.

@ phodreaw - Sure, she actually made it into the Oval Office. Leo liked her.

I loved Ainsley Hayes. Maybe I'm a sucker for the Bossa Nova. Plus she served as a test to the group, especially Sam. I thought it was a good move on the writers part to include a strong (blond) (Republican) (hard-spoken) female on the cast.
