Yeah, I don't like either one of those films. Although, the eerie suicide at the beginning of "Dances with Wolves" had a certain potency to it.

"Platoon" was a rather sloppy piece of direction, and some of the acting was a bit off the mark as well. For a film set in the 1960's, it really, really felt, like the 1980's.
