not Holly, though, she takes after her dad too much

Betsy Brant as the Human Torch

@avclub-7a5a3fe4ae33de425d06ac4fe8d097d2:disqus I salute your resilience.

@avclub-a1967e6de4ca99fb2635d94b99453928:disqus , true, but up until this point Skylar, despite being subjected to tremendous abuse, has still been one to call Walt on his bullshit. Even when he threatened his way back into her bed, she stared him straight in the eye and told him she was looking forward to him dying.

Todd's a company man - he may be a psychopath, but damn if he isn't loyal to whoever he happens to be calling boss at the moment.

It didn't occur to me either, but at the same time I was thinking "what the hell is he doing this makes no sense what's going on", because his first instinct is to always defend himself and rationalize. This does explain it and make it make more sense, if that was at least partially a motivation.

Such a nice boy!

it could be worse - it seems like all of my friends are just sooooooo excited for Once Upon a Time and Supernatural to start up again

we should have known the moment she showed up in that outfit that Hank was a goner - she's always in purple or teal, I don't think she's ever worn all black like that before.

at the ripe old age of 103, surrounded by loved ones

Everything's gonna be fine for old Jesse!

Such a nice boy, always so polite.

None if this shit people are naming are beliefs actually held by a vast majority, or even a slight majority, of Americans. If there is a belief like the fan one then the Americans amongst us wouldn't realize it because we would think it's true and it would be backed up by the relevant authorities.

maybe for people lucky enough to be insulated from groups like that it wouldn't seem to matter, but it does sound like it's an important distinction, so thank you herovillain for the knowledge bump

No, Todd is the puppy who cuddles up with a blanket that smells like his owner. And then casually kills people for her.
Gamma dog always hopelessly devoted to the alpha, and right now that's Lydia, in all her expensive shoed neurotic glory.

To imply that Todd has a crush on Lydia is to imply Todd has human emotions. The lipstick thing was more like how a dog will snuggle with a blanket that smells like their owner. Creepy when done by what appears to be a human, but harmless… to Lydia, at least.

He didnt even bother to do his everything's totally fine bullshit walk when he left the carwash. He practically sprinted out of there

That one shot where he had one eyebrow up almost to his hairline and the other one down is going to be imprinted in my mind - I didn't know real faces could contort like that

They won't kill him because it'd upset me too much. Nope. Nope nope nope. Everything's gonna turn up daisies for ole Jesse just you wait and see.

By the end of the episode my throat was soar from yelling "oh my god" "is this really happening" and "don't kill Jesse" at the screen for pretty much the entire back half
