The mere fact that she calls it "pop" tells me she's a rube.

And he damn well better give her back.
I'm honestly pretty psyched about that orange juice. It's half the calories of regular orange juice.
But you were okay with Pete hiding out from his kids faking his death for a whole year?
When actor becomes a star doing one thing (whether they're an action star, a child star, a comedian or whatever), they always look for a reason why audiences have some bias against them in another role. That's ridiculous. Hollywood is full of actors who never find any level of success in any genre. Becoming a star…
They got paid? Damnit, I watched for free.
Did you ask Fogelman what happened to your exclusive on the George Takei casting news?
@IndependentGeorge, To be fair, living in NY also probably disqualifies you from being a real American.
The multiple reviewer thing didn't work out very well for Cheers. If A.V. Club is going to experiment with multiple reviewers again, I'd rather they try it with a show I'm less interested in.
If you have ever seen older Russian women, you would understand why the need for that expression has never come up.

Someone else is reporting that it's George Takei.
The best named Liz Lemon suitor is clearly Wesley Snipes, not Criss Cross.
Nick being from Chicago is what made it brilliant. Nick is so bad at inventing characters that, even though he's actually from Chicago, the only Chicago character he could come up with is a lazy stereotype.
I'm not saying that hating hipsters is irrational. I just admit that I take it too far.
Among Republicans Sandy's age, gay marriage is pretty popular. For a young Republican living in NYC, it would be very surprising if he didn't support it.
I think some of the criticism of the show and a lot of the backlash against the criticism are colored by the title. If it wasn't called Girls, I don't think the critical discussion of the show would be so focused on gender. There are plenty of other reasons to dislike it.
A few months ago, I did a marathon run through all of the X-Files DVDs. The only episode in the entire series I couldn't finish was First Person Shooter.
