That's depressing, but she was always the introvert of the group so I'm not surprised. At least he's tried talking to her as opposed to her trying to talk to him, and him ignoring her.

Who wouldn't want to high five the Count?
Well, at least she's still working.
thanks, ill check those out.
Sounds good, ill check all those out, thanks.
I can never keep track of any of Stan's CIA buddies, except Dick ("Give me the Dick I love, give me the Dick I know!").
No doubt politics played a part, but being broadcasted on the WB at the height of Dawson-mania probably didn't help either.
Good call on "Smalltown Boy", but the gayest song of the 80s has to be Divine's "You Think You're A Man" or really anything by Dead or Alive.
That's because those mogoloids hate downer episodes or anything that shows genuine emotion, they were probably the first people to jump ship and watch Family Guy.
Lisa vs. Malibu Stacy is golden, I don't think the show was really matched that level of subversity and social cutting ever really again. Also it's a rare example along with "Separate Vocations" of Lisa using her brains to be a badass.
That episode was dire, and was probably the first instance where I was embarrassed to be watching the show.
They were really reaching with that title, jeez.
Wow did that really happen? That's not even Family Guy level humor there, that's like Drawn Together-level shit. Terrible.
Despite the Coldplayness, that story is awesome, I would have been ecstatic to have been there. Glad to know Mr. Moroder is still out and about
If anything they're the poor man's Travis.
Well that too. I kinda saw it as a oblique callback to stories where Stan has trouble making meaningful friendships with anyone outside his family. Stan with all his confidence and hubris can't really fit in anywhere.
Probably from smoking all that Supergrass.
I was intrigued by St. Vincent. I was always just assumed she'd be some ethereal Bjork type. I liked the early-80s art school new wave aspect to her sound, I can see why David Byrne worked with her.
Wow you just referenced my two favorite performances ever. That Bowie performance is amazing, and is still probably the craziest thing ever shown on network tv, and B-52s doing Rock Lobster was just phenomenal.
Hobocore.
