Technically the offer is still on the table, I'm sure they'll have some further story about once the concert/festival happens. Nothing about Leslie's career seems set in stone at this point.

Also it's hard to take a guy you once saw crying in a batman costume as a serious authority figure.
The Leslie of season 1 much like Brendanawicz basically don't exist anymore, and the show is better for it.
It really wouldn't have been realistic if Leslie and decided then and there to take the Chicago job. She has legitimate gripes with the people of Pawnee, but she also as a life, a career, friends, and a husband who's the city manager, to think about.
Meh, the Pawneeans have always been pretty unlikeable (i.e. the town
hall meeting in season 1), that's way it's always a big deal when they
take to one of Leslie's ideas.
I fought for this country!
I look forward to reading about this movie on some future AV Club inventory about terribly misguided adaptions.
Sad that this has eclipsed probably the biggest night of their careers, grow the fuck up and learn to be professional.

Tumblr is now imploding.
Glad that 12 years won, was rooting for either it or Nebraska.
Is Brad gonna sing Thrift Shop?

They'll have to dig SJP out of cold storage
There's always Marty's next project Leo…
Jennifer Lawrence tries so hard.
Weird thing to be pedantic about, but is Noah's hairstyle a bit anachronistic. They didn't have clippers back then I assume, with all the Jesus beards and all.
the late Videogum did a pretty great take down of this turd:

This is indeed a disturbing universe…
Agreed it was weird, though I always liked Jeff/Britta more than Jeff/Annie.
