lets's not forget that Community episode she was in, oh wait…let's.
kinda weird that the av club would go up to bat for such MOR top-40 sholck like this. actually instructing us to listen to a song thats still in major rotation on most stations, how much did her label pay for this?
That Mickey Rooney speech is a thing of beauty. I remember as a kid being genuinely sad that Springfield had ruined the Radioactive Man movie (like most second graders I did not get satire), but now that I'm older and having lived in LA, that final speech and the montage afterwards never fails to make me laugh.
counterpoint: late Dexter.
People tend to forget that season 2 wasn't very good up till "Greg Pikitis" This season isn't even half way over, and with Ann and Chris leaving in two episodes, there's no reason to suspect it can't turn around.
Yeah it's unfortunate, continuing to like certain shows on this site can become a real chore. especially when others decide the to play backlash game against any show past it's 3rd season. They're convinced the rot be set in, they refuse to believe otherwise, regardless how good an episode/season is.
But this is A.V. Club we have to hate every show that has audacity to be successful.
Too bad the new animation looks like shit.
Yeah, that really took me out of the episode, his whole death plot has been treated a little too flippantly, especially for main character we're supposed to care about.
B+, good not great, some great lines but a little too repetitive at times,
"Y'see, the kids, they listen to the rap music, which gives them the brain damage. With their hippin' and their hoppin', and their bippin', and their boppin'…
"Look at Burns' suit! Geesh!"
You don't get it dude, he was like there…that counts for something right (no.)
Pretty sure Suede were the Smiths of the 90s, but whatever.
Ugh, I totally thought that was real longer than I care to admit.
seriously Jeff & Britta 4 lyfe!
It's true we're so lame!
Nope.
Get on your feet!
