Batista is actually a really solid worker when he wants to be, Umaga was the same, not great, but competent. Khali is terrible but his matches with Cena were when he was still able to kind of move, but those matches were still pretty bad. I don't think Cena is awful in the ring, just not very good.

One of the most underrated moments to me was post Summerslam '99 Raw (I think, the one after SS when Rock faced Billy Gunn). Rock was on commentary and starting burying the creative team, yelling "who the hell in booking this crap? The rock vs billy gunn at summerslam?"

The crowd wasn't happy to see Rey in the Rumble in '06 when he won it, they sure as shit didn't wanna see him in Daniel Bryan's spot in '14. The booing was appropriate. But you're right, BNB would have got some benefit from it at least.

Cena's matches are great when he's got someone there to carry him. Punk, Bryan, Cesaro, etc, can carry him to a great match and he flows well with them. But when Cena has to do the carrying like with Ryback for example, it's a trainwreck.
