Depends. They all have their own serious flaws. I found that JJ and LC, though intelligently written and very well-acted, also became ploddingly, protractedly dull. Others have read that differently. And DD2 ran into some big problems as well.

This will sound weird, but skip the first three episodes and just jump in from there. It's by no means an ideal show — and, oy, did those first three episodes struggle — but after that it starts to get a footing. Keep in mind that this is a Scott Buck joint with all of the limitations that implies, but I do think it

You do love that word "failure," don't you?

Then Cheers would have ended after Season 1, as would tons of other shows now either respected, liked, loved or held as classics.

Agreed on all of the above. As I said here when we were discussing the first run of Iron Fist, I think the primary problem with the show is Scott Buck and his utter inability to (a) run a show; and (b) make up his f*cking mind what he wants. Yup. Plus, it puts applause before and after the scene for intro and outro.

Up until about two months ago, every single episode of QI (QI and QI XL) were on YouTube, but the best uploader of episodes had his account nuked and so many of them, especially recent ones, have vanished. There's still quite a lot of them on there, but many of them are of just so-so video quality. But, root around

In that sense, it's a network's wet-dream: a show that over-produces from its already marginal expenses. The ratings, then, don't

Combo: Spicer's reportedly going to be appearing on Hannity tonight.

Fair enough. But I'd just add that Olenna is about the only source for humour left on this show, so I kinda want her to live right to the end. She did ice Joffrey, after all.

Wishing ill upon Dame Diana Rigg? Shame on you! Shame! Shame! ;-)

No, but her Spicey-sense is tingling…

I guess too many people wanted the Press Room terra' gone.

A-mace-ing, isn't it?

I thought he took a powder.

Response to him had got a little chili lately.

Did he dash off?

The spice-puns must flow…

You could say that Spicer was a little racked.

Thor 2 at least had some good funny moments, providing you embrace the goofiness. Wotzisname, the intern, was strangely adorable; Thor riding the underground; that sort of thing.
