I read it a month or so ago and was similarly frustrated. Mostly because I'm a big thrift-store junkie and her chapter on what happens with clothing donated to Goodwill bummed me out the most.

There's a theater near me that won't allow even accompanied children under 12 into PG-13 and R movies after 9pm. It's not so much the movie content, but a courtesy to the other people going to the movie. It's pretty awesome, actually.
