But not weird enough for that AV Club list of the weirdest Beach Boy songs.

I listen to Purple Chick's reconstruction of SMILE all the time…
…and also Smiley Smile.

Okay, Zodiac.

Upon inspection, yeah, digital always sucks. (I don't know where I heard that Brick was on digital. I mean… of course it isn't.)

Strangely contemporary to Mulholland Dr was an actual ABC Lynch-rip-off: Push, Nevada. (Why didn't they go for the real thing?)

Digital isn't all bad.

I just couldn't get past the way it looked— digital camcorders are a decidedly unbeautiful excuse for film stock.

The first time it ran, they played a track from Camille's "Le fil."

Yeah, if they designed it intuitively, there would be an "All Songs with Reviews" under the Artist-> Song page.

Oh, it's a bug of their own.

That response doesn't really make any sense— it doesn't address any of the bugs I called out.

Dean Martin made "Dreams Are Made of This" into a hit in the late '50s. So that might be why Gallagher reminds you of Martin.

Also according to the introduction:

I love allmusic (I use it at least five times a day)
…But god, is it buggy.

It's a great soundtrack album (though incomplete)—

That's not true, C.J.C.

Great score, by the way…
Probably my all-time favorite score of the last thirty years. (Partly non-originally, largely borrowed from Khachaturian, but to beautiful effect. Especially the love theme from the ballet "Spartacus.")

What'a you need? A road map?

HIS KIND OF WOMAN
is a personal favorite.

Great call on Only Angels Have Wings, incidentally.
