Actually, I think Caroline handled the Hayley situation perfectly. She had legit reasons to be suspicious, and instead of freaking out and making assumptions she immediately confronted Tyler with her suspicions. He explained his behavior, and as far as I could tell they moved past it. All in one day. Could you even

The best Jeremy moment was last season when he cross-bowed and decapitated that hybrid like it was not even a thing. Of course Elena ruined it by freaking out and sending him to Denver. You know for a lady that likes to make her own decisions she really doesn't extend that right to her loved ones.

She had a pretty murderous rage for Klaus. So much so that she helped Momma witch with the spell that was going to kill all of the Originals, including Elijah. Frankly, if Elena is going to have guilt over something, it should be her attempted conspiracy to murder Elijah.

I'm pretty sure it's impossible for Elijah to outstay his welcome anywhere ever.

Eh, not sure Connor could have replaced Alaric as Damon's drinking buddy. He was far too committed to his cause and not nearly enough of an alcoholic. Also, I just don't think that Connor would have appreciated Damon's jokes.

It's hard to tell, but the Belgian knight seems to have more Fabi qualities (read: good natured silliness) than Stefan qualities. I mean he responded to moving on with an unironic "Booyah."

They can't kill off Bonnie. The writers will need her to fullfil her dues ex machina role in the season finale. It would be nice if the writers gave her something cool to do that actually resulted in some character development other than Judgey McJudgerson.

There probably is a cure, but I bet it involves curing the originals or killing the originals since the hunters seemed intent on having the originals in casket state. I doubt Klaus will be down with curing himself.

This! Not to mention that witch Bonnie has been responsible for more dead people than vampire Elena.

Using Elijah (sparingly) in the flashbacks fell in line with the theme of this episode, being a big old tease.

First of all, not enough Elijah. Ugh, what a tease! Second of all, where does Bonnie get the nerve to be so judgey? She is responsible for killing Grams TWICE. Elena has killed exactly zero people under Damon's tutelage. So basically, Bonnie is once again the worst this season. Can we please get her a dark magic arc?
