Honestly, I prefer Klaus and Elijah to Stefan and Damon (ok maybe not Damon). There are places they can go with Klaus's character, and I can see Caroline being an avenue the writers use to humanize him. Plus, I just feel that Joseph Morgan is a delight, and I trust the writers to sort out his character in the long run.

Yeah, when the commentators were talking about Jordan Wieber, who is an amazing athlete, leading US to gold, it seemed a bit ridiculous. Aly Raisman is the captain, and clearly helped keep the other ladies calm, and Gabby Douglas performed all four events. So basically that narrative was irritating.

I think they included it previously because there were Americans that had a chance to medal for the first time in a few Olympics. Also, there is a narrative about China trying to sweep all of the golds. I am glad they show any of it, because synchro diving is awesome.
