I think he was wearing the wolf head, so the driver would've been startled, but even so it seemed like a reaction to get to a plot point rather than a genuine reaction.

I mean, I guess they and Varga, like Malvo sort of was, are meant to be "forces" as opposed to actual characters, but Malvo (and Varga) at least had some characterization. Meemo and Yuria just do things.

Maybe she just sits around reading or painting or at a desk job or something until the W-Phone* rings.

*note— this is not how they summon Wonder Woman. Or maybe it is, I don't know.

It's so completely over the top bonkers I might have to see it in a theater.

I never actually watched it, but didn't most of the episodes of the last season of Sons Of Anarchy go over the usual hour running time by ridiculous amounts each?

I can't stand Yuria. There's something… unearned about him.

He can find Robert Pollard and try to drink him under the table.

I don't know anything about anything but "Alaska Thunderfuck" is an amazing name.

That was no accident!

Apollo (a god of the sun among, apparently, a ton of other things) is also occasionally known as Phoebus Apollo, but that's probably what/who you're referring to now that I re-read your post.

Rich Hall was on QI all the time in its early years, so him being big in England apparently isn't all that new.

That's a paddlin'!

That must give her one heck of a headache.

Oh, we're posting favorites? I just made one up. (Which is why it's shittier than most.)

I think so MLA, but chartreuse and mauve wallpaper in the solarium? I'm just not seeing it.

That was aces. Aside from that, the last line of the episode cracked me up because it was so unexpected. (And also hilarious, of course.)

…Jeremy Davies is playing Jesus? Zounds.

This (having finally caught up) made me realize that Chloris Leachman would make a perfect Granny Weatherwax (from the Discworld series). Of course, Leachman's 91, so better sooner than later, but still. That's suddenly my dream casting. She can even reuse the outfit and hairstyle from this.
