That reminds me of how much I enjoyed their cover of Beth.

Well, shit. Now I just want to watch Coming to America.

This has to qualify for my, "Holy crap, I completely forgot that even existed" pop culture moment of the week.

That's very true, but I'd hesitate to even invite the suspicion by having it in my home. Of course, I stole a pack of baseball cards as a kid and buried it in a field the next day because I was so paranoid about being caught, so perhaps I'm not the best barometer here.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of him just having to live out his days in misery knowing that he failed in every way he can imagine: providing for/protecting his family, seizing control of the operation, outsmarting Hank, etc. Facing the fact that he couldn't "win" would be much more demoralizing…

It's going to be interesting to see how they pace things from here on out. 4+ seasons took a year in the show's time, so I wonder if it will seem strange to cover that much ground in about 13 hours.

@avclub-f6569ea944aa6820b9457f9522a30242:disqus I actually really hope that doesn't happen. Whether Walt deserves it is another story, but I hope it's not Jesse who has to do it.

I would take The Killing over Hell on Wheels, too. At least The Killing elicits some sort of reaction out of me, even if it's mostly criticism. Hell on Wheels, aside from some cinematography that I really liked, more or less made me shrug.

This makes me realize I have no idea how the election turned out or if it even took place. I didn't mind the final episode, but now only remember a bunch of crying and a video from Rosie about her family.

Most episodes only make me laugh a handful of times, but it does occasionally get huge guffaws out of me. After this episode, I was thinking about this show's relationship with comedy and I felt the same way at the end that you did - intrigued and confused.

This is really interesting because I had sort of a similar but completely different read. I really, really liked her sudden change of attitude/enthusiasm/whatever, but it didn't occur to me that it was because she realized the night had reached its climax.
