I don't believe he's ever taught classes. He speaks sometimes, but he's not only a college dropout but also a rabid cranky foul-mouth who would be up in front of an university ethics panel in all of about 5 seconds if he taught classes.

I liked the golden compass movie but I had pretty low expectations and never read the book. It had warfighting talking polar bears, which is pretty much the best thing I've seen in a movie ever.

Apparently you make it a post-apocalyptic earth, make the mythology a lot more complicated, and try to cram way too many stories from season 1 into a single movie.

I just watched the cartoon on dvd and it was pretty good for the most part, reminded me of a much better written version of those cheesy french action cartoons I grew up on like belle & sebastian and the lost city of gold.

I say I'm not certain because I left OEI over a year ago and haven't had much direct contact with the game since then besides watching some other people play it and talking to my friends about it. I don't want to make it sound like I'm a hugely out-of-touch dev who doesn't even read his own buglist.

I don't know for certain but it sounds like the console versions have some memory problems. The mansion vanishing is a classic streaming error and I've heard that texture pop-in on the consoles is a lot worse. PCs have a lot more memory to throw around so that sort of thing would be a lot more rare.

I think you are giving too much credit to a single review, or putting too much emphasis on the specific score in my anecdote.

Mask of the Betrayer was pretty good but it suffered from most of the same technical problems that hindered NWN2 vanilla. The area design and writing were awesome though. AV Club even gave it a really nice review.

Who said it sucked? I see a C up there, which isn't suck territory, it's just "not that good" that's also just John's opinion, and, with all due respect, it's not a great review. Below this post you've got people saying much the same thing but with a lot more detail.

I wasn't trying to be a shit weasel though. I was just proud of my work even if it wasn't Half-Life 2 and I thought I'd share that. I forgot that claiming credit on the internet is such a faux pas.
